Intro Rate: Very First 1 Hour Session = $10

* The coaching fee does NOT cover the cost of the lane(s) during the session. Therefore, bowlers are responsible for paying for their own lineage / bowling fee to the bowling center.

2 Min - 3 Max - 1 Session

• 10% off for students (college, high school, middle school) maintaining a GPA >= 3.5 on the last report card they received for the previous quarter or semester.

• 10% off active or retired public school educators or public school classified employees

• 10% off for active duty or retired military veterans.

1. House hold incomes are tight. At any income level, ALL should have the opportunity to be coached.

2. MUST: Bowling 3+ games on any given day is already costly depending upon where you bowl.

3. MUST: Fun & serious bowlers MUST budget for the best arsenal their budget can afford.

4. MUST: Drilling/plugging. Only the BEST will do. Galaxy in Kinston, Buffaloe North and Buffaloe Erwin.

5. NEED & MUST: Budgeting for shoes and ball bag(s) is a NEED for ‘fun’ bowlers and MUST for ‘serious’.

6. WANTS: Jersey, shammy, backpack, shoe brush, abralon pads etc.

7. League, tournaments, sweepers, USBC annual fee …not free.

8. Travel and lodging to tournaments add up, unless you minimize pennies and camp like me.

9. Lower rates ‘may’ increase the probability of growing and/or enriching our the bowling community.

Again, do not mistake cost for quality. If I don’t coach you, find a true coach that can. Ensure he/she knows what they’re doing. No matter who coaches you, ensure your growth goals and needs are met or exceeded.

What are your approach processes? The approach processes are everything you do within the first 15 feet. Mindset, breathing, stance, feet, timing, balance, back swing, torso angle, release, head position, spare system, double jump rule, one handed, two handed… the list goes on. The approach is where we master the basics.

What are your processes for reading the lanes and making decisions? For all 64 feet, we’ll learn how to interpret lane conditions and ball movement. Recognizing and understanding the fronts, mids, back-end along with seeing how and where the ball enters the pit are essential. Recognizing and being certain on the fresh, transition, the burn and even torched lanes postures bowlers to NOT make ‘kitchen sink guesses’ but instead make assured and confident decisions on what to do, when to do it, how to do it, where to do it and why.

Are you seeing ‘how’ the pins fall? If so, explain. It’s simple math that rarely changes. When bowlers understand ‘why’ they got a strike or why they left a certain configuration of pins standing, the game becomes so much easier. When bowlers understand the ‘math’, the ‘next decisions’ become so much easier. Understanding the ‘why’ leads to making the best decisions.

What’s your process for building an arsenal? What’s your process for making a ball lineup and prepping them for league / tournaments? What’s your decision process for making a ball change(s)? It’s fine to want the latest ball, or get a ‘big hooking ball’, buy what the pros are rolling with or get that awesome urethane. But if bowlers don’t understand ball numbers, then it’s like driving a Decati or Hayabusa through a school zone. Yes you can drive 15 MPH through the school zone but those types of motorcycles were designed for and meant for the racetrack. When bowlers learn the numbers, see the motion and learn how to fully control what they have, that’s when you see them push the Ducati / Hayabusa on the racetrack. At DROP 10 we’re not limiting ourselves by staying in the school zone. We’re on the racetrack. We’re rolling on the lanes pushing the limits by using the bowling balls for what the manufacturers designed them for and then some.

How are you preparing your mind? What things are you doing for your body? Your heart & spirit, how’s it doing and are you preparing it for easy times or mountain peak challenges?
